Data-Center Speed-to-Power War Game

A constraint and sequencing model connecting power, equipment, construction, commissioning, cooling, safety, and permitting dependencies to readiness and intervention priorities.

Synthetic dependency/scenario prototype

Task: Separate screened research-computing demand, dependency evidence and fallback cost assumptions before a readiness decision.

Contribution: Project direction by Kamal; AI-assisted implementation of an evidence-led extension alongside the original readiness and timeline lenses.

Inputs → processing → output: Synthetic capacity, stakeholder evidence and cost assumptions → ratio, freshness, dependency and fallback checks → review gates and wait-versus-fallback comparison.

Technology: React · Pure JavaScript evaluator · JSON schema + fixtures · Explicit cost arithmetic

What the reviewer can do: Change screened demand, capacity, dependency readiness or fallback cost; inspect recalculated ratios and explicit review issues.

Limits: Research-computing allocation scope. No commercial data-center forecast, validated stakeholder ranking, procurement approval, calibrated probability or realized outcome.

What changes when you change an input?

Changing screened demand or available capacity recalculates their ratio. Changing queue wait or runtime recalculates the wait/runtime ratio. Dated evidence and dependency states update review flags; duration and cost assumptions recalculate the wait-versus-fallback comparison.

Computed: Demand/capacity and wait/runtime ratios; evidence freshness and gate flags; low, expected and high wait costs; fallback total and expected cost difference.

Published baseline: The original timeline/readiness lenses, charts and baseline figures above remain prepublished evidence. The new calculations do not rewrite them.

Scoped to research-computing allocation. Inputs, thresholds and ordering are synthetic design assumptions. Evidence completeness is not purchase approval; qualitative confidence is not a probability.
